To help protect you online, the University has introduced a new service that will redirect any potentially harmful websites to a warning page.
If a web page pops up (displaying the below message), it is because you have tried to access a website that is considered to have malicious content. This can happen by any means of web access within the University network.
The University has introduced this new process to ensure your own devices and University networks are protected, and you don’t become a victim of a phishing scam or other forms of attack.
As the message points out, no websites are blocked based upon a moral or political standpoint. However if you have any concerns or need to know more information about the service, please email us at [email protected].
