To raise awareness of ongoing violations of academic freedom across the globe and engage a new generation of academic freedom defenders, CARA (the Council for Assisting Refugee Academics) is organising a national student art competition.
The theme for the competition is Academic Freedom, with prizes of £1000, £500, and £250. This competition is open to any student at the University and the deadline for submitting entries is 3 May 2015.
