The University Library is looking for more student volunteers to join their Student Communications group.
The Group works to promote and facilitate communication between students and the University Library: to create awareness of library services for students, through a range of communication channels, including social media.
During weekly meetings Library staff and students brainstorm issues and projects, examine different perspectives and effective ways for implementing ideas. Tasks are agreed upon and completed by both staff and students between meetings.
Work that the Group has completed includes: creating a more prominent social media presence for the Library, running a photographic competition, and refreshing the SUSSED Library tab.
