The University welcomes author and columnist Will Self for a discussion of his book Shark. A synopsis of the novel is available here.
Held in association with John Smith’s Student Store, the event will take place on 1 May 2015 at 18:00 in 1027/67 on Highfield Campus. The evening will include refreshments, readings by Will, a book signing and a discussion of the novel.
Dr. Bradley L. Garrett of the Geography and Environment department is hosting the evening. Will has been a supporter of Bradley’s research into urban exploration and has written the foreword to his most recent book – Subterranean London: Cracking the Capital.
