Researchers’ Café – an opportunity to listen, sip and discuss – is holding its next meeting Friday 17 April. Researchers’ Café brings together research and burning social topics in a relaxed atmosphere, so no previous knowledge is required!
The event is scheduled for 18:30 – 20:00 at Mettricks Tea and Coffee House (117 High Street, SO14 2AA).
Study topics will be discussed informally so attendees are encouraged to take part in the discussion by asking questions or using the provided conversation starter points. Topics will include:
- Circular (bio)-economy by Dr Dhivya Puri
- Butterfly Extinctions and Human Baby Booms by Dr Claire Dooley
- Getting Value out of ‘Big Data’ by Donna Green of General Electric
For information on past Researchers’ Café events, visit their Facebook or Twitter. Anyone looking to lead a discussion in their research area is encouraged to email Tony Curran.
The event will be followed by live acoustic music for those who want to make a longer evening of their visit to Mettricks.
