As part of Nuffield’s Fulcrum Festival, the University is hosting TEDx featuring outstanding speakers who will be announced daily on Facebook and Twitter. Originating in Silicon Valley, TEDx is now a worldwide phenomenon featuring inspirational (and sometimes life-changing) talks on a range of topics.
The event will be held on Saturday 25 April beginning at 11:00. Tickets are available through Nuffield Theatre.
Already announced speakers include Vanessa King of Action for Happiness and Saamah Abdallah of neweconomics.org. You can find a full list of released speakers here.
Nuffield’s Fulcrum Festival is a three-day event full of debates, performances and panel discussions bringing together cultural figures, social commentators and world-class scientists.
