The Institute for Life Sciences is holding the Epigenetics and Evolution Conference – an interdisciplinary showcase is bringing together interests on how epigenetics contributes to evolution and the causes of non-communicable disease. The day-long event will be held at Southampton General Hospital on Friday 5 June from 09:30 – 18:00.
Attendees are invited to submit a poster for display. Please also attach an abstract (not more than 400 words) by 1 May 2015.
The conference featuring keynote speakers from King’s College London and the University of Oxford, will broadly centre around four main topics:
- Evolutionary Principles
- Mechanistic Epigenetics
- Health Consequences
- Relevance to Policy
