This one day conference will look at how we, as an institution, relate to the outside world to ensure that our research activity is impactful and relevant to many and various stakeholders and our researchers are effective in this context.
The event takes place on:
Thursday 21 May, 09:15 – 15:30, Education Building 34
And will look at:
The need to improve the way the University engages with, and communicates our message to, the public;
- engagement and impact lessons learned from REF2014 and preparations for REF2020
- ways to enable and support all staff (not just a minority) to engage with ‘publics’ and the benefits this brings to the individual, academic units/faculties and the University
