Applications are invited for the Royal Society pairing scheme which is an opportunity for scientists to get involved in government and get paired with a parliamentarian or civil servant to understand each other’s world.
The initiative will give successful applicants an insight into how parliament and government work and how they can use their research findings to inform policy making.
Scientists need at least 2 years postdoctoral experience in STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine) disciplines and time to travel to London for a week. Expenses are covered by the scheme.
Applications are accepted until May 24.
