Marking the 50th anniversary of the headline read around the world, Big Bang Study Day will celebrate the debates, conjunctures and advances of our understanding of cosmic creation.
Beginning with the historical through to the scientific, this weekend program will take you from the Copernican revolution to the confirmation of the ‘big bang’ theory, concluding with the principal developments in the ‘big bang’ theory since the mid-sixties. As a full-day program running from 10.00-16.00 on Saturday 16 May, the event will be held at Avenue Campus.
