Students and staff can can swap their unwanted clothes for new (to them) ones in the Winchester School of Art (WSA) Café on the 19th March.

It’s easy to take part:

  1. Drop off your unwanted (clean and in an acceptable condition) items between 08.30 and 10.00 at the WSA Café
  2. Receive a token for each item you donate (up to a maximum of 10).
  3. Return between 11.00-13.00 to exchange your tokens for your new favourite clothes

Who can come along?

This event is for all staff and students at Southampton. It’s not just for women – we’re inviting donations of men’s, women’s, and children’s clothes, as well as items to meet all your fancy dress and accessories needs.

What if I don’t have anything to donate?

Don’t worry if you don’t want to give away any of your old clothes – you can buy items from 12.30 – 13:00 for the bargain price of just £1 each.

Our prices won’t be beaten anywhere else on the High Street. Any money raised will be donated to the Raise and Give charity (RAG) and leftover items after the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

So raid your wardrobes, dust down those old shoes and come along to what is expected to be one of the biggest events on campus this year. You never know, you may find some real bargains at little cost to you and the environment!

See more here.

This event is part of SUSU’s Stress Less Fest.
