Invitation to talk for staff and students who support a disabled child or adult

Looking after a disabled family member can be both challenging and isolating.

For any staff or students who have this additional responsibility, there’s an opportunity to meet with an organisation that specialises in supporting disabled adults and young people and their families.

Based in Andover, Enham Trust provides a range of practical services including help with care at home, supported living, residential care, skills training and employment. They can often also help with queries on Personal Health Budgets and Direct Payments.

Staff from Enham Trust will give a short presentation and answer your questions on Monday 8 June 2015 12:30-13:30, B85 (Life Sciences), room 2209. Lunch is provided.

This visit is hosted by the University’s Parents and Carers Network  (P&CN), a support group for all staff who look after children under 16, and/or care for adults unable to look after themselves due to age or disability. P&CN is supported by the Diversity team.

If you’d like to come to this presentation but have not already received an Outlook invitation, contact Linnet Evans.
