Staff are invited to attend a one-hour Research Professional training session. Research Professional is a database of UK and international funding opportunities, that the University subscribes to and is accessible to all members of staff. All funding information in the database is pre-screened for eligibility for UK researchers. More details can be found at Research Professional Website.
The same session will be run twice on 26th May 2015, at 10am and 2pm (Venue: Building 34, Room 3001). Please register for a place on one of these sessions via Eventbrite.
The training will focus on the various features the Research Professional database offers:
· Searches for research funding in all disciplines from a wide range of sponsors in the UK and overseas;
· Set up of email alerts to receive funding opportunities relevant to your research interests
· Customisation tools to make the tool work for you
· Funding guidance section with helpful tips and advice
