Students are invited to apply for the last remaining places on language courses running this summer.
Each course comprises 20 hours of learning over 5 days – the classes will be demanding but nevertheless rewarding. If you’re prepared to work hard and attend all of the sessions on the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance and will have gained some new skills to enhance your CV.
Languages left with limited space:
Russian: 3-9 June (not including weekends) 14:00- 18:00
German: 3-9 June (not including weekends)14:00-18:00
Mandarin Chinese: 3-9 June (not including weekends) 14:00-18:00
Portuguese: 10 -16 June (not including weekends) 09:00- 13:00
These are free courses open to all students across the University. However, if you have completed an evening course with us in the current academic year for free (under Language Opportunity), then you will not be able to apply.
All courses are aimed at complete beginners and cover the basics of the given language.
You must ensure that you are available for all 5 sessions before you complete your application.
There will be a short break within the 4 hour teaching slot.
There is no formal certification provided with this course.
