As part of the Southampton BioBlitz event, budding naturalists of all ages are invited to join experts on a bat walk on Friday 5 June and a bird walk on Saturday 6 June.
Southampton BioBlitz is a free event where local people join wildlife groups and university scientists in a race against the clock to find as many species of plants and animals as possible in 24 hours.

Southampton BioBlitz is a joint initiative between the University, SUSU, the City Council and the Natural History Society. It is also part of a national campaign, with similar events happening up and down the country.
