Academics and Early-Career Researchers are invited to a workshop about how to apply for funding to help commercialise their product or technology.
The workshop will take place on 16 June, B38 Hartley Suite, (Staff Club), Highfield. Lunch is at 12:30; the workshop is 13:00 – 14:00.
The workshop is designed to help those applying for the Innovation to Commercialisation of University Research programme, ICURe.
The session will cover aims and rationale behind the ICURe programme, details of the programme and the funding available, success stories from those we have worked with and application tips.
The ICURe programme supports university research teams with commercially-promising projects. Support and funding of up to £50,000 will be available to selected teams that are seeking to determine whether there is a business opportunity for research.
SetSquared (the partnership between Universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey) are ready to accept applications for Cohort 4 to start September 2015.
So join us at the workshop for useful hints and advice to ensure your application has the best chance of success of being approved on to the programme
