Opening Hours

If you plan to visit the SUSU Shop, Stag’s and Bar 3 Diner during the summer, visit SUSU’s webpage to check how the opening hours have changed. While SUSU and University services will continue, opening hours may be shortened to account for the smaller number of students. Don’t worry though, favourites like the Sunday Carvery will continue.

Hartley Library is open from 7.30 – midnight on weekdays and 09.00 – midnight on weekends and you can view the opening hours of all our libraries here. The Student Services Centre is still open from 8:30 – 18:00 Monday to Friday.

Jubilee Sports Centre

With the extra time you’ve got now, the Jubilee Sports Centre on Highfield campus has new offers that you can fill your time with. Fitness classes are back to a normal schedule with 23 offered weekly and indoor cycling has been made free of charge to anyone with a gym membership.  For those who don’t, a one-month membership is available at only £17.50, while the three-month membership that runs until Sunday 27 September is available for £40.00.

Nuffield Theatre

The Nuffield Theatre continues to put on productions throughout the summer. There will be short runs of The Sorcerer, His Dark Materials: Part I & II and A Number. Student tickets remain at the low price of £5.

Outdoor Services

We all love a spell of sunny weather  and since Southampton is named as the sunniest place in England, we hope there will be plenty of it. You can take advantage of the warm weather by getting over to the outdoor tennis courts at Avenue Campus or host a barbecue at the halls.
