A team of eight staff and students are creating four new modules for our Business School to offer contemporary relevance across the degree programme, ready for the next academic year.
“Students as Creators and Change Agents” is an Education Enhancement Fund (EFF) project headed by Dr Mark Gatenby and Dr Lisa Harris of our Business School. The team are creating four new modules that will be compulsory for new Level One students on Business and Management degrees in 2015/16.
The modules promote a collaboration across different faculties, with a focus on the key perspectives of: analytics, management, history, philosophy, entrepreneurship and innovation. The aim is to allow students to see the impact that business has on their lives, in society, and in the digital age.
Charlie Mason, an Undergraduate student working on the project, said:
“Combining 21st century technology into the new Business and Management curriculum is an exciting new addition to the learning experience.”
The team’s progress can be followed Twitter using the hashtag: #SBScoCreate.
