Each year the University surveys all our graduates to ask what they are doing 6 months after they complete their studies. The information that we gather gives us valuable information about the careers that our students move on to, and the success that they have in the job market.
The survey highlights for us the diversity, and strength of our student body, and this is reflected in the wide range of jobs that our graduates are working in. The results of the survey also contribute to the University League tables, which are published throughout the year.
The DLHE survey is carried out by email, but we also have a team of student staff that telephone our graduates, as we believe this offers a more personal approach. We work very hard to ensure that we speak to as many of our graduates as possible, and this year we managed to survey almost 83% of the students who completed their studies with us.
If you are graduating this summer, we will be contacting you between November and January to ask how you are getting on in your career. Please remember to leave up to date contact details with us, as we do not want to miss you out when the survey begins for 2015 graduates.
Don’t forget, you can read about the DLHE survey results, and the career and further study successes of the 2013/2014 graduates when they are published on the University website in August.
