The search is on to find the best baker in the University, with the winner to be announced at the Staff Party on 24 July.
Round 1: Send us your cake designs
Using the theme of a summer garden party, we’re challenging staff to be as creative as possible and come up with the most amazing cake creation.
All you need to do is draw your design, then scan it and email it to us here by 17 July. Alternatively put your entry in the internal mail to Rebecca Morris, Marketing and Communications, Building 37, 3107.
Round 2: Shortlisted entrants bake their cake for the Staff Party
We’ll make a shortlist and invite those selected to bake their cake design for the Staff Party on Friday 24 July.
On the day of the party, our Vice-Chancellor will choose the cake with the biggest ‘wow factor’ as the winner. The prize of an afternoon tea at a local hotel for two will be awarded to the University’s best baker. The cakes will be returned to the owners after the judging has taken place.
So put your thinking caps on and get your design entries in by 17 July.
