Andy White has announced that he will be leaving the University this September.
Andy joined the University in November 2011 as Head of Safety and Occupational Health. He will now take up a role as Director of Risk and Assurance at The Pirbright Institute.
Announcing his departure, Andy said:
“It has been a huge privilege to lead our Health and Safety team over the past three-and-a-half years. They do a tremendous job, working with great professionalism and flair, in partnership with Faculty and Services Safety Officers. The University has many wonderful people contributing to its world-class research, and I have enjoyed working here. I wish all staff and students well for the future.”
Steve White, Chief Operating Officer, says:
“Under Andy’s leadership the University has made great progress in its Health and Safety performance. Managers and supervisors are increasingly recognising and acting on their responsibilities, and our innovative programmes of risk management, training and audit are the catalyst for this.
