Following equipment upgrades and the expansion of the radiology department, researchers can now access extended imaging resources on the Southampton General Hospital site.
These resources include a 3 Tesla Magnetic Resonance scanner (pictured), CT scanners and imaging involving Nuclear Medicine.
The use of the imaging equipment will be of particular relevance to researchers in the Faculties of Medicine, Health Sciences, Social and Human Sciences, Engineering and the Environment and Natural and Environmental Sciences and the Institute for Life Sciences.
In order to apply to use the resources, you need to complete a research imaging proposal form that can be found here. For further information, please use this link to the University Hospital Southampton website.
If you have any further questions, please contact Professor Colin Kennedy from the Research Imaging Management Group.
