Pregnancy Pilates is particularly beneficial when it comes to the inevitable postural changes caused by the weight of your bump, it works on maintaining a tall posture and it will help minimise back trouble.

The exercise will also keep your corset of deep abdominal muscles toned, and this helps reduce pregnancy back pain and aid with the post-natal recovery of your abdominals and pelvic floor muscle.

If you are not sure about starting an exercise programme or if you have any medical changes during your fitness programme, please consult with your GP or midwife.

The courses are run by Maxine Tubb who has been teaching classes for the past 25 years and is qualified in teaching pre and post-natal exercises, she has a wealth of experience in Pilates and specialised exercise prescription.

You can find more details about fitness classes here. Go to the ‘Class descriptions’ or ‘Prices’ sections.
