Four students from the University have been placed in the top 10% of this year’s 5,117 submissions for the Undergraduate Awards 2015.
The successful students are Lucinda Allen and Rhys Norman in the History category, with Lee Gannon and Matthew Thring placing in the Literature (1710-Present) category.
As Highly Commended, the students will receive a certificate and have their work published on the new online Undergraduate Library that will be launched early next year. The students are also still in the running to win their category on Wednesday 23 September, when 25 Irish and 25 International students will be announced as winners.
The students are then invited to attend the Undergraduate Awards Global Summit in Dublin. The Global Summit is a unique four-day event that will see the students take part in discussions, workshops and other events.
