Helping you get set up | Welcome IT

There are a number of ways to get IT help once you’re at university: visit iSolutions’ dedicated webpages, their IT help desks or contact ServiceLine.

For anything from downloading the MySouthampton app, finding online courses via Lynda.com, logging into the University Wi-Fi to printing queries, iSolutions are there to help. Visit their welcome website to find out everything you need to know.

Our iSolutions team will also be around campus and halls over the welcome period to assist you with everything IT: from answering questions on email to setting up a Wi-Fi connection on an iPad.

iSolutions help-desks will be on campus:

  • Hartley Library: Saturday 19 September – Friday 2 October 09:00-17:00 & 18:00-20:00 (Weekdays) 09:00 – 17:00 (weekends).
  • Avenue campus: Monday 21 September – Friday 2 October 10:00 – 16:00
  • Winchester School of Art: Monday 21 September – Friday 9 October 09:00 – 16:00

Our teams will also be at the following halls of residence:

  • Glen Eyre, Mayflower, Gately, Gateway and Wessex Lane Halls: Saturday 19 September – Friday 2 October 09:00-17:00 (weekends) and 18:00 – 20:00 (weekdays)
