The Business Fair incorporates a range of business, finance and management professions across a variety of industries. Many Third Sector organisations also participate, demonstrating that charities too require a variety of professionals to plan and manage their business.
Who Should Attend?
The Fair is open to all students regardless of subject or year of study, as many of the business companies are often looking to recruit for various roles both on graduate schemes and internship opportunities. The Fair is also a great chance to meet Third Sector organisations offering a wide range of alternative opportunities.
Prepare for the Fair
To make the most of this opportunity and learn how to follow-up promising first encounters, sign up to attend the Prepare for the Fair sessions. These will be held on 15 October for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students (hosted by PwC) and 16 October (hosted by the Careers and Employability Service) for international students.
CV Clinics
You can receive expert CV advice provided by exhibiting organisations and Specialist Career Practitioners at the Business Fair. The sessions will be held from 11.00-15.00 in the Hartley Suite during the Fair. We will also have a Current Opportunities Jobs Board at the fair, which features a number of the exhibiting organisations job advertisements.
