NHS England commissioned University College London (UCL) to carry out the review of specialist training providers of psychological therapies for people with severe mental illness. They identified Southampton, alongside King’s College London/Institute of Psychiatry, for the quality of their postgraduate CBT training for people with psychosis.

Dr Katherine Newman-Taylor, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Lead for the Postgraduate Diploma in CBT, said:

“We are very pleased with this recognition, which we believe is testament to the commitment of the CBT team and our NHS partners, to delivering high quality training in psychological therapies.”
