On Wednesday 4 November, the Social Impact Lab, in partnership with Waitrose, is hosting the Social Innovation Challenge – a one day competition to find the best social and environmental ideas for improving student life at the University.

As well as workshops on design thinking, prototyping and social business model canvassing, students will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas to an expert panel for a chance to win seed-funding and a place at the Social Innovation Summit in Toronto, Canada, from 26 – 30 January 2016.

The challenge is open to students from any subject area and year of study. Students can register as individuals or in teams of up to four people.

If you would like to participate in the Social Innovation Challenge, register online or contact Josie Francis, Programme Manager. Registration is open until the 20 October 2015.
