An exhibition opens today to display University proposals for a new Centre for Learning and Teaching on Highfield Campus.
You’ll find the exhibition in the foyer of the Staff Social Centre (B38).
The way students learn is evolving, and there is a call for increased flexible space that allows for independent and group study.
The new learning and teaching centre is being designed to fulfil that requirement and, along with lecture theatres and seminar rooms, will include a computer suite and a range of independent learning spaces where students can study individually or in groups.
The purpose-built facility, which will be located adjacent to Salisbury Road, will be available for use by all faculties and is planned for completion in 2018.
The exhibition is open until Friday 30 October.
