The Leverhulme Trust has awarded the Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI) 15 fully-funded PhD grants over a 3 year period.
Five scholars started this October and this second call, for the next 5 scholarships, invites SMMI members to propose transdisciplinary projects that tackle major maritime issues. This cohort will commence studies in October 2016.
This call is now open with a deadline for submissions by 17:00 on 27 November 2015.
