There’s a busy schedule of wellbeing events planned for today starting with a session on how stress can affect different parts of the mind and body and ways to deal with this. ‘Mind, Memory and Mitochondria‘ starts at 09.30 on Highfield campus, 34/5003.

Mindfulness and behavioural strategies for dealing with anxiety, stress and depression will be the focus of a talk on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) on Highfield campus at 10.00, 34/4005.

Patrick Sandford uses theatre to discuss the uncomfortable subject of sexual harassment. Groomed’ starts at 11.00 in the Cinema (Cube) SUSU, Building 42.

At 14.00 at SUSU Plaza you can take a walk around the campus and identify some of the biodiversity on the University’s grounds. (This walk is still expected to go ahead today.)

You register for all these events and find out more about them on the Wellbeing webpages. You can also just turn up on the day.
