The Public Engagement Showcase will take place from 15:15 – 17:00 today (Wednesday 25 November) in the Terrace Restaurant (Staff Club) on Highfield Campus. No need to register – just come along.
Are you a current postgraduate student, wanting to find out more about getting your research into the public sphere?
Public Engagement encompasses the various different staff and student-led activities which promote current research to a public audience.
These activities range from hands-on experiments and demonstrations at places like the Cheltenham Science Festival and Bestival, through to stand-up comedy and informal discussions in public spaces.
Many of these activities are collaborations between academic staff and students, and it is a great opportunity to showcase what current postgraduate research students are researching.
You are invited to come and find out more about the different groups involved in public engagement and find out how you are able to bring your research to life.
