Staff and students are invited to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Annual Lecture from 18:00 on Wednesday 2 December in the Turner Sims Concert Hall, Highfield Campus.
The University and the RNLI hold an annual lecture as part of our Advanced Technology Partnership. This involves active research projects in engineering and sponsored students in Ship Science and most recently in allied health sciences and management.
A key element of the research is dissemination of the work through theses, papers and articles. This relationship is most valuable to the university and the Annual Lecture has become one of the most prestigious in the University Calendar.
Speaking will be Professor Richard Clegg, Managing Director, Lloyds Register Foundation.
