The Festival brought together a series of skills workshops, presentations and 1:1 opportunities led by Careers Practitioners and employers from a variety of companies and industries including: JP Morgan, Grosvenor, Babcock International, PwC, Deloitte and the University of Law.

During the Festival the Careers Service trialled outreach into Halls of Residence to promote our service offering.

Many students who got involved commented that the Careers Service was an important part of their University experience and they would definitely tell their friends how much support the service provides, and the variety of opportunities that exist for students.

Sponsorship of the Festival by Grosvenor, JP Morgan and Babcock International provided the opportunity to offer prizes to students for attendance, including an iPad Mini 3, Beats Pill and Amazon vouchers.

We would like to congratulate the following prize-winning students:

  • Elvin Wong – MEng Electrical & Elec Engineering
  • Bhavana Kashyap – Master of Business Admin
  • Mohamed Nawabuddin – BEng Aero & Astro
  • Sandra Addai – BSc IT in Organisations
  • Grace Morris – BA English
