Public Policy@Southampton to affiliate with Centre for Science and Policy

Public Policy@Southampton is pleased to announce a new affiliation with the Centre for Science and Policy (CSaP) Policy Fellowships Programme at the University of Cambridge.

Public Policy@Southampton supports our researchers in providing data and evidence for policymaking.

Public Policy@Southampton will be affiliated along with the Mile End Institute at Queen Mary University of London in a pilot scheme during 2016.

The affiliation extends the benefits of the CSaP Policy Fellowships Programme to Southampton and enhances Policy Fellows’ access to world-leading researchers and the best evidence.

CSaP_logo_cmykAs a result of the affiliation, CSaP Policy Fellows will be offered an additional one or two day visit to the University of Southampton.

It will also allow researchers at the University of Southampton to engage with a network of over 200 CSaP Policy Fellows from industry, the third sector and government, at local, national and European levels.

Researchers will have the opportunity to meet and exchange with policymakers working on topics related to their research and thus provide relevant evidence for improved policymaking.
