The University is running a course for undergraduate students looking to develop their communication and engagement skills.
Communicating in an engaging manner can bring what you’re saying to life and make your audience take more of it in and remember it.
It will be delivered in two parts – learning/revising your communication skills in the classroom (3 hours), and then putting what you learn into practice by taking part in one of the University’s public engagement events, such as those run by the University’s Bringing Research to Life Roadshow – see the University website for further information and a provisional list of dates and events for 2016.
As well as improving your skills you will meet others with similar interests and have fun. This course is aimed at undergraduates of all years; it is particularly recommended for those in second year (and third year of 4 year degrees).
Part one of the course will run in February 2016. Course date options will be sent to those who submit an expression of interest here.
