Twelve teams comprised of students and staff will compete in our own version of the popular TV quiz show in February – March 2016.
All are welcome to come along and watch. Both students and staff from across the University will be competing – which team will you support?
Team members from this year’s University Challenge team are writing the questions, including Tricia Goggin (team captain), Sarah Stock and Rowland Sadler, all pictured.
The competition will take place every Tuesday evening between 18:30 – 20:00 from 2 February, culminating with the Final on Tuesday 15 March. Each event will take place in room 1089, building 2 (Music L/T D), Highfield Campus.
The Final will be held at a different venue, and tickets will be available at a later date through Eventbrite.
Organiser Dr Tony Curran of the Public Engagement team says:
“Our competition will have a similar format to the TV show but questions will not be so highbrow! Our aim is for everyone involved to have fun – those taking part and those who come to watch.”
