The National Student Money Week will take place from 8 – 12 February 2016. In support of the week, both the University and Students’ Union will be helping you become savvy with your grocery shopping by showing you tips and tricks to reduce your food bill, to know your rights as an employee and to help you understand your relationship with money.
There will be taste testing, competitions, giveaways and raffles along with an array of useful information to help you budget better.
Thursday 11 will be our employment day and we will be joined by Career Destinations, SU Recruit and Enabling Services to help you find work during and after your degree and to help you strike that work/study/life balance.
As with last year, trained advisers from The Advice Centre will be there to help you with Student Finance, budgeting, benefits and any other money worries you may have and Financial Information and Assistance will be there to assist with questions surrounding hardship and bursaries.
Come find us in the SUSU Concourse (Building 42) from 10:00 – 14:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at Winchester School of Arts in the Café on Wednesday.
