The student association Electric Vehicles Society is pleased to announce that it will be participating in this year’s Shell Eco Marathon – an international competition showcasing the most energy efficient student built cars.
The Southampton team will be participating in the Battery Electric Prototype section, which supposes a small one-seater vehicle to be as aerodynamic and efficient as possible.
We are looking for motivated individuals, eager to help in either of the sections and who would like to join us on the pursuit of building the most efficient electric car in the world.
If you’re interested, please attend our presentation of both the competition and the team at 18:00 on Tuesday 9 February 2016, in Room 3009, Building 7.
We currently have positions available in: Marketing, PCB prototyping and CFD testing, amongst others.
Please note that no previous experience is required.
If you cannot attend the presentation, but you are interested in taking part, please email the Faculty Advisor Professor Roberto Lot. Alternatively you may contact Team Leader Andreas Zimmermann.
For further information on the competition, please visit the team’s Facebook page.
