The renowned physician and author Ray Tallis will be giving a talk at Southampton General Hospital on Friday 4 March, from 12:00 – 14:00. The venue is Lecture Theatre 2, Level B, South Academic Block.
He will be discussing a range of topics including his book ‘Aping Mankind’, a critique of the ability of neuroscience and evolutionary theory to explain human consciousness, behaviour, culture and society.
This lecture will particularly be of interest to those in the fields of philosophy and neuroscience, including those working with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
