The Students’ Union is completely student-led and in May, there are even more ways for you to get involved in the democratic processes that decide exactly how the Union is run.
First up, it’s Change One Thing. This is where you get to make key decisions about the Union in the year ahead. We’ve already asked you for your big ideas for 2016-17 and you’ve all been busily ranking these online. Now it’s time to vote on the top ideas that make it through. You can vote online at www.susu.org/elections between 6 – 11 May 2016.
And it doesn’t stop there. You will all remember the Spring Elections earlier this year, but now we’re giving you another chance to join the team and run for one of hundreds of part-time positions in our Summer Elections. If you want to actively make a difference to the lives of your fellow students, take a look at the different positions available at www.susu.org/elections. You have until 4 May to nominate yourself.
If you don’t fancy running for a position, you can still have your say by voting for who you want at http://www.susu.org/vote. Voting opens on 6 May at 12:00 until 12:00 on 14 May.
