The following events may be particularly relevant to our undergraduate and postgraduate-taught community:

Voices of Experience Q&A: An interactive and insightful session bringing together a panel of final-year doctoral and post-doctoral researchers, who will discuss ‘Things I wish I’d known at the start of my PhD’. If you are a doctoral researcher, PGT student or UG who is looking at future possibilities, then this is for you. Details TBA.

Engagement Showcase: From science festivals to research-based stand-up comedy, find out how to get involved in Public Engagement in Research. This interactive event is mainly aimed at Doctoral Researchers but would be interesting for everyone.

3 Minute Thesis Grand Final: 8 PhD researchers, who are competing to represent the university at the national finals, will give a 3 minute presentation on their thesis.

Researchers Café: This popular event enables researchers to meet each other and other staff, students and the public to discuss their research in an informal space.

Pint of Science: Although not specifically part of the festival, Pint of Science are a series of events that fall within the same period aiming to deliver interesting, fun, relevant talks on the latest science research in an accessible format to the public – all in the pub.
