The Students’ Union has organised talks with two winners of last year’s Excellence in Teaching Awards to share their research with you.
The Academic Awards, run by the Students’ Union, give students a chance to recognise and nominate staff across the University for their contribution to the student experience.
Ahead of the 2016 awards, the Students’ Union have organised two lectures with winners from the 2015 awards (then known as the Excellence in Teaching Awards):
- Professor George Attard, Chemistry – “A little learning is a dangerous thing…” at 18:00 on Thursday 10 March
- Dr. Alex Dickinson, Engineering – “Engineering Replacement Joints and Limbs” at 18:00 on Tuesday 15 March
Both lectures will be held in Bar 2, Building 42 (Students’ Union), Highfield Campus. They are both aimed at a completely interdisciplinary audience, and are open to both staff and students.
