Professor Mandy Fader to become Dean of Health Sciences

Mandy Fader has been appointed Dean of Health Sciences with effect from today, Monday 21 March, for a period of 5 years.

Mandy is Professor of Continence Technology and has been working as Associate Dean (Research). She joined the University’s Continence Technology and Skin Health group in 2004 and leads a team of researchers focusing on research into continence products and devices, and the effects of incontinence on skin health.

Reacting to her new appointment, Mandy said:

“Health Sciences is a very fine Faculty – I am proud to be the new Dean. I am most grateful to my colleagues for all their support and look forward to exciting times ahead!”

Sir Christopher Snowden said:

“I am delighted at Professor Fader’s appointment as Dean. Mandy’s experience as Associate Dean (Research) and her wider knowledge of the Health sector mean that she is ideally placed to lead the Faculty. I look forward to working with her on the University Executive Board.”
