Royal Mail has announced an increase in prices for business customers from 29 March 2016.
You do not need to do anything about this change, but you will need to be aware that your departmental postage charges will be slightly higher due to this increase.
Even with the changes the University will continue to get far better rates than the public for 1st and 2nd class mail.
The increase will be 1p on each 1st and 2nd class item, up to 100 grams.
Please remember that unless your mail is urgent then it should be sent 2nd class.
