The second edition of the new research and enterprise e-newsletter, Re:action, is out today, showcasing the diversity of our achievements and the wide ranging engagement with our research.
Professor Tim Elliott, Interim Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Enterprise, provides a foreword to the publication and introduces “very good news for the University” in terms of the Government reaffirming its commitment to supporting research funding.
In this issue you will find, for example, news of a €1.2million ERC grant to tackle fundamental questions about the nature of pregnancy; business collaboration success in developing cabins for cruise ships; a supercomputer cluster helping to improve sailing wing design; an introduction to our new Research, Integrity and Governance team; and where our work has been covered in the media.
