Why Swap?

Going along to a Swap Shop is a great way to get new clothes for free. Not only it is great for saving money, it is also good for the environment by stopping unwanted clothes being thrown away.

It’s so easy to take part:

  • Have a wardrobe clear up and dig out those clothes you no longer wear
  • Bring your clean clothes to the swap anytime between 10.00 and 15.00
  • Have a rummage and take some new clothes home

Women’s, men’s and children’s clothes and accessories will all be accepted. Please make sure that that clothes are clean and in a wearable condition. This event is open to everyone, both staff and students, so make sure you get involved.

If you don’t have anything to donate:

You can buy items for a small donation. All proceeds go towards the charity Labour Behind the Label and leftover items after the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

So have a spring clear out and cleanse your wardrobe and join us at WSA Café on Friday 29 April between 10.00 and 15.00 to get some great new clothes. Join the event on Facebook here.

Swap Shop is entirely run by volunteers. If you can offer some time to help on the day email: [email protected]
