Nominations for the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards, which recognise and celebrate truly exceptional contributions that have been made by our staff during the academic year will close today, Friday 29 April 2016 at 17:00. You can still submit your nomination online today using isurvey.
The Awards celebrate and reward demonstrations of creativity, passion and excellence by members of our staff community who enhance the University’s reputation and help make it a great place to work.
Any current member of staff or team may be nominated. The criteria for the Awards, listed below, are aligned with the four principles of our new strategy as announced by Sir Christopher Snowden at his first all-staff address in January:
- Collegiality: for demonstrating the University’s core principle of collegiality: one team working, planning and delivering together toward our shared vision.
- Quality: for demonstrating the University’s core principle of quality: always striving to achieve the highest quality in everything we do.
- Internationalisation: for demonstrating the University’s core principle of internationalisation: delivering across global markets and building strong partnerships with other leading universities.
- Sustainability: for demonstrating the University’s core principle of sustainability: Ensuring our actions lead to financial, social and environmental sustainability.
