The 2016 Staff Engagement Survey will launch on Tuesday 10 May and close two weeks later on Tuesday 24 May.
Filling in the survey is our route to being simply better as Professor Sir Christopher Snowden makes clear:
“We have over 6,200 staff working at the University, working in diverse environments and different roles. If we don’t actually get to hear what everybody thinks about their experience of working here we can’t hope to understand what improvements we need to make.”
Director of HR, Janice Donaldson said:
“I think it is important that we acknowledge that there is a largely new executive in place with a new refreshed strategy including a key strategic goal of being ‘A great place to work’.
“I would encourage everyone to fill in the survey so we can create a new baseline and actively plan to be ‘a great place to work’ for all of us.”
On Tuesday 10 May, staff will receive a unique URL link in an email from ORC International who are managing the survey for the University. Simply click on the link and fill the survey in.
Alternative arrangements will be provided for staff who do not have access to a computer, who work on the campus grounds and for those on maternity or sick leave.
Initial results of the survey will be shared with staff before the summer break with more detailed analysis available in the autumn.
More details about the survey, including a Q&A can be found on the Strategy SharePoint site.
