CPC public panel debate: implications of Brexit for EU migrants

To inform opinion ahead of the forthcoming EU referendum, the Centre for Population Change (CPC) will be hosting a free public panel debate on Tuesday 10 May 2016 to discuss the wider issues around their recent research on EU migrants living in the UK, migrants’ attitudes to the forthcoming referendum, and the resulting social policy implications.

The debate will be held at the Abbey Centre, 34 Great Smith Street, Westminster and will run from 15:00 until 16:30, with refreshments afterwards.

The panel will consist of the following members:

Mark Mardell (Chair), Presenter, BBC Radio 4 World this Weekend
Professor Jane Falkingham OBE, FAcSS, Director, CPC, University of Southampton
Don Flynn, Director, Migrants’ Rights Network
Professor Derek McGhee, Professor of Sociology and Head of Social Sciences, University of Southampton
Professor Traute Meyer, Professor of Social Policy, University of Southampton
Dr Athina Vlachantoni, Associate Professor in Gerontology, University of Southampton
Attendees are invited to submit questions for the panel when registering, but there will also be plenty of opportunity for interaction on the day.
